Funders/ grant programmes (London-based and nationwide)

Hi all, I want to raise your awareness to the work London Funders are doing at the moment. They have created a funders’ statement, asking funders to commit to supporting organisations they’re currently funding and coordinating an approach on various topics including work to support children and young people, vulnerable groups, food-based organisations and many more.

London Funders will also be looking at options to create some kind of pooled or aligned funding pot.

They are basing their emergency approach on what they did in the wake of the Grenfell disaster, and have some lessons learnt from this and are working to improve their response to this pandemic. You can find out more on their website: https://londonfunders.org.uk/about/covid-19

Although this is London-focused, they are also happy to share their approach and lessons learnt with other localities so are happy to have conversations about this.
